Two primary focuses

The Vaccinate the Natural State initiative has two primary focuses:

1Business-to-business engagement

We know how important it is for Arkansans to get back to work safely. Arkansas Blue Cross is partnering with the Arkansas State Chamber/Associated Industries and AFMC, the Northwest Arkansas Council and Walmart to rally Arkansas’ business community by providing educational resources, video modules, communication toolkits, and outreach support to help guide businesses across the state through the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccine. Through this effort, business owners and leaders will be equipped to confidently prepare their organizations as more COVID-19 vaccines are made available, and to educate and encourage their employees to receive it. 2Community engagement

All communities in our state are important, and each has specific concerns and needs regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. Through Arkansas Blue Cross’ work with the Arkansas Minority Health Commission, the NWA Council, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), Walmart and other community partners, we aim to reach them all. Within this effort, a special focus will be given to rural and underserved communities with health disparity.
